- Can be installed in minutes by a competent electrician
- Work with single phase 2220/240V supplies
- Units supplied with 1.5M (59") 3 core mains flex (white)
- Each Heater comes with all the fittings needed for most types of installation
- IPX4 rated and are resistant to water ingress
The patio heater must be located in a position to allow for proper and efficient use but one that ensures hot parts are not touched accidentally.

The recommended height for the mounting is between 2.3m to 2.5m off ground level, with the heaters angled down at 45º (see diagram 1). It should be firmly attached to an exterior brick or concrete block wall.
The unit is protected against water ingress, however it is recommended that it is installed in a covered outdoor area to give maximum protection. The canopy, which must be of a permanent nature, must have a minimum clearance of 30cm from the patio heater and it must extend a minimum of 2m from the wall. The heater must not be attached to any combustible material.
The electrical supply to the unit should be provided by connecting to a circuit, which is protected by a 10A fuse or Miniature Circuit Breaker, The supply to the heater must be separately switched. Alternatively, a switched fused spur taken from a ring main can be used. The spur fuse should be rated at 10A. In either case the switch used to operate the heater must be indoors and readily accessible.
The wall should be drilled as per Diagram 2 and the supply brackets mounted at the height indicated in Diagram 1.
Installing units along a wall, under awning or rigid frame
The most common application to deliver a continuous heating area, uses PubSun3 units aligned adjacent to one another along the wall or a rigid frame. The first unit should be set 1.2m from a wall or end of terrace, with units spaced apart by 1.5m for PubSun 3 units or 1.8m for PubSun 4 units.
